Lucille R. Rietman, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at her home. She was born April 4, 1927, in Charleston, Arkansas, to the late Frank Stief and Marie H. Gramlich Stief. She was 93 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Rietman; and a son, Phillip Rietman.
Lucille worked many years at Shipley Banking Company in Fort Smith, and later for Arkansas Vending Company. She was a 1945 graduate of Charleston High School, Co-Valedictorian of her class, and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston.
Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 15th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston, with Fr. Norman McFall officiating.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston, with Fr. Norman McFall officiating. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen Rietman and David Rietman, both of Charleston; two sisters, Betty Weaver of Lavaca and Loretta Wilson of Charleston.
Pallbearers are Charlie Ketter, Tim Kiene, Donnie Wilson, Jim Miesner, Chris Miesner, Duncan Dozier, and Gary Meyers.
Honorary pallbearer will be Carl Miesner.
