Lowell Gene McDonald, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, at his home. He was born June 8, 1956, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Ramon Ray McDonald and Josephine Eliza (Owens) McDonald. He was 61 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Ray McDonald.

A family held memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7th,  at Victory Baptist Church in Booneville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his mother, Josephine Warden of Paris;  a daughter, Rolanda Shott and husband Joseph of Booneville; four sons, Lowell McDonald, Jr. of Altus, Oklahoma, Albert McDonald of Booneville, Ramon McDonald and wife Aimee of Greenwood, and Billy McDonald of Booneville; his wife, Sherry McDonald of Paris;  the mother of his children, Roland B. McDonald of Booneville; twelve sisters, Emma Terry, Vada Cook, Mary Ann Velez, Linda Sherwood, Dannette Reed, Mona Wimberly, Joyce Sherwood, Paula King, Lisa Adair, Charlotte Marlarky, Helen Harbour, and Lori Small; two brothers, JoeBill Nunn and Mark DuVall; eight grandchildren, Katelien Shott, Beau Shott, Connor Shott, Alex McDonald, Zander McDonald, Craig McDonald, Lila McDonald and Mason McDonald.; and several nieces and nephews.
