Loretta Mae Whitson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Saturday, January 27, 2024, at her home. She was born on October 29, 1960, in Ozark, Arkansas, to the late J.T. Brison and Louise (Hill) Brison. She was 63 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jerry Lynn Brison; and a sister, Patricia Brison.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jeffrey Don Whitson; her son, Jordan Whitson of Fort Smith; two sisters, Debbie Scarberry and husband Donnie of Hartman and Brenda Drum of Hartman.
