Loren John Orvik

Loren John Orvik of Fort Smith, Arkansas, was pronounced dead Saturday, July 11, 2026, at his home. He was born on April 10, 1957, in Two Harbors, Minnesota, to the late Bennie O. Orvik and Sylvia Ardelle (Thompson) Orvik. He was 69 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Nancy Soucek.

Loren earned a bachelor's degree and retired in sales for Dillard's Department Store in Fort Smith.

He is survived by a sister, Rachael Thompson and husband Larry; three brothers, Bennett Orvik and wife JoAnn, Merlin Orvik and wife Rachel, and Joe Orvik and wife Emily; and several nieces and nephews.
