IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Logan Taylor
Turner
September 19, 1997 – April 11, 2022
Logan Taylor Turner, who resided in Scranton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas, from injuries of a motorcycle accident. He was born on September 19, 1997, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Michael and Christine (Neumeier) Turner. He was 24 years old. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Elaine Turner.
Logan was a 2016 graduate of Scranton School. He was a 2021 graduate of IBEW Local 700 Electrical School and was an employee of Harvey Preston Electric in Fort Smith. While he participated in many activities including baseball, basketball, and golf, his happiest times were spent outdoors hunting, fishing, and riding horses. He also loved the lake and spending time on the water, and of course, he loved riding his motorcycle.
The special smile and twinkle in his eyes set Logan apart from the average person. His kindness and caring attitude endeared him to his family and many friends who were important to him. He was very excited about the news that he would be an uncle in August when Brandon and Alex welcome their first son. Logan was a caring and sharing person in life. In death he continued sharing as a donor whose major organs directly saved eight lives. In addition, multiple others will benefit from minor organs and tissues that will affect their lives. Logan lives on in the bodies of others.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 18th at Scranton High School Gymnasium in Scranton, with Rev. Kenny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at McKendree Cemetery, located north of Subiaco, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Christine Turner; five brothers, Brandon (Alex), Caden, Jacob, Heston and Payton; his maternal grandparents, Debra Roach and Leo Neumeier (Mari).
Pallbearers will be Kolton Hughes, Selvin Walker, Judd Wright, Devin Jennings, Mason Meier, and Dakota Dyer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Schluterman, Dillon Shannon, Jacob Owens, and Dillon Koch.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Logan Turner Memorial Fund at Logan County Bank.
