Lloyd Collins Jones of Lavaca, Arkansas, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in Jefferson County, Arkansas, at the age of 48. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on January 6, 1976, to Loyal and Sharon (Brinker) Jones.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon (Brinker) Jones and is survived by his father, Loyal C. Jones; a brother, Scott Jones; sister, Janet (Jones) Carpenter, and Cierra Gamon, Virgil Gamon, Ambrose Gamon, Liam Gamon, Destiny Jones; two nieces; and four nephews.

Lloyd's family remembers him as a creative person with a love for animals and who worked as a farmhand. Unfortunately, Lloyd made poor choices in his relationships which placed him on a ruinous path leading to his untimely demise. In the last few years of Lloyd's life, he acknowledged and expressed remorse for the poor choices he made in life. Lloyd, being a baptized believer, re-established his relationship with Jesus with a repentant heart and was in prayerful study until the time of his death.

The family wants to thank the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home for the services they provided to the family during this time. The immediate family will hold a private service followed by a private gathering afterward.
