Lisa Ruth Jones

Lisa Ruth Jones of Van Buren, Arkansas, died Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Van Buren Health and Rehab Center. She was born on November 18, 1954, in Van Buren to the late Roger Miller and Norma Pearl (Stockton) Miller. She was 71 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Brenda Green and Nancy Stepsun.

For several years, Lisa was a housekeeper at St. Scholastica Monastery in Fort Smith. She enjoyed quilting, helping out with the Farmer's Market Food Pantry in Van Buren, served on the tape ministry at Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church, and faithful member of Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church on Pointer Trail in Van Buren.

She is survived by two sons, Rickey Jones and wife Alicia of Uniontown and Dustin Jones and companion Tammy Blackshear of Van Buren; a daughter, Michelle Yeakley; a brother, Wendell Golab of Fayetteville; (17) grandchildren; and (3) great-grandchildren.
