Obituary

Linda Kay Stinnett, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, died Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Paris. She was born on July 14, 1963, in Booneville, Arkansas, to the late Carmel Ray Sarten and Patsy Rose (Harris) Sarten. She was 61 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lisa Ann Butler; and two brothers, Johnny Ray Sarten and Donald Wayne Sarten.

For several years, Linda worked at Lady Fair Mills in Ratcliff and retired from Cloyes Gear Company in Paris. She was owner and operator of Eagle Video in Paris and member of Paris Free Will Baptist Church, where she always sit on the "Blue Bird" side. Linda loved playing Bingo, getting mani-pedi's, picking okra, sewing and chasing grandkids, and she loved her community, but most importantly, her family very much. She had many friends and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12th at Paris Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Bo Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Baxley Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by her husband of almost 44 years, Kenny Stinnett; a daughter, Michelle Howard and husband Tony of Paris; a son, Mitchell Stinnett and wife Angela of Paris; a sister, Joy Kindrix and husband Ronnie of Charleston; a brother, Ronald Sarten and wife Dorothy of Paris; (12) grandchildren, Corey Naegle, Jacob Naegle, Alexis Jones, Kaitlyn Naegle, Brady Stinnett, Kloey Howard, Maddy Howard, Tiffany Reeves, Courtney Brown, Whitney Bottoms, Jacob Howard, and Hannah Smith; (9) great-grandchildren; her favorite aunt, Jenny of Jacksonville, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Ronald Sarten, Corey Naegle, Jacob Naegle, Brady Ray Stinnett, Mike Stinnett, Jimmy Luttrell, Tommy Bauer, Daniel Stinnett, and David Stinnett.

Honorary pallbearers are Ted Parker and her grandkids and great-grandkids.

The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
