Linda Joyce Skeets, who resided near Branch, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 16, 2023, in Ozark, Arkansas. She was born on October 4, 1943, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Mac Harrison Hewett and Ila Florene (Hammond) Hewett. She was 79 years old.

Along with her husband Larry, Linda owned and operated Skeets Ranch and Farm. She was a 1961 graduate of County Line High School. Linda was always involved in church activities and was a faithful member of Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved her family, her church family, and her community very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19th at Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Bill VanMeter officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Larry Skeets; her son, Mac Skeets of Branch; a brother, Jackie Hewett of Caulksville; two grandsons, Tyler Skeets and Slade Skeets; one niece, Callie Hewett; three nephews, Jack Hewett, Todd Hewett  and Lane Hewett; one great-niece, Stella Hewett; and three great-nephews, Ashton, Jax and Ryan Hewett.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Skeets, Slade Skeets, Jack Hewett, Todd Hewett, Lane Hewett, and Steve Lovelace.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
