Linda Sue McCauley

Linda Sue McCauley of Barling, Arkansas, died Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on February 26, 1950, in West Covina, California, to the late Frank Monroe Buck and Hilda Ruth (Rankin) Buck. She was 76 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Tommy Buck.

Linda was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant at Mercy Crest in Barling. She enjoyed doing word searching, watching street racing on television, and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Barling.

There will be two services for Linda. A memorial service will by held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2nd at First Assembly of God Church in Barling, with Pastor Travis Deer officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 5th at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roy G. McCauley; three sisters, Anna Ruth Maddox and Myra Hamlin, both of California City, California, and Betty Gooch of Danville, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
