Linda Rose Jones, who resided near New Blaine, Arkansas, died Friday, January 27, 2023, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville, Arkansas. She was born on February 23, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Kenneth Wilson Lufkin and Kathleen (Sutton) Lufkin. She was 74 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Gary Don Jones, Jr.

Linda was a retired supervisor for ATA Martial Arts in Little Rock and a member of Dublin Freewill Baptist Church near Scranton.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 4th at Dublin Freewill Baptist Church, with Bro. Shane Kasper officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery on Hwy. 96 near Greenwood, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gary Don Jones; a daughter, Carrie Folsom and husband Mark of Barling; a son, Brian Lee Jones  of New Blaine; two sisters, Debbie Milen and Margaret and husband John, all of Illinois; two brothers, Kenneth Lufkin, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Louis Lufkin of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Allysa Jones, Josh Jones, Tanner Folsom and Wyatt Folsom; and one great-granddaughter, Malea Rose Jones.

Pallbearers are Tanner Folsom, Wyatt Folsom, Chucky Jones, J.R. Spoon, Josh Uptagrove, and Ayden Graham.

Honorary pallbearers are Josh Jones, John Beard, and all the men of Dublin Freewill Baptist Church.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 3rd at the funeral home.
