Obituary

Leonard Leland Huber, who resided near Magazine, Arkansas, formerly of Fresno, California, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born February 11, 1932, in Fresno to the late Henry Huber and Mollie (Hearst) Huber. He was 85 years old. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Vickie Jean Vanloon and Carolyn Gail Beeton; one brother, Jim Huber; and two grandsons, Brian Gattis and Shannon Gattis.

Leonard was a retired fence building contractor in Fresno, California. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Fresno, served in the U.S. Air Force, and he was of the Lutheran faith.

A family held memorial service will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his son, Russell Huber and wife Pam of Magazine; one sister, Darlene Huber of Clovis, California; three granddaughters, Kimberly Huber of Springdale, Danielle Toyer of Fresno and Lisa Fox of Subiaco; three grandsons, Rusty Huber of Fayetteville, Roger Thompson of Fresno and Marshall Gattis of Subiaco; fourteen great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and four nephews.
