Leon "Bill" Scallions, 86, of Paris, Arkansas, passed away August 19, 2024, at his home. He was born in Luxora, Arkansas on September 13, 1937, to the late John Scallions and Margaret "Maggie" Jewell (Sorrell) Scallions Dew.

Bill was a retired truck driver. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Scallions; a daughter, Missy Stubblefield; four brothers, Wesley, Odell, Kenneth, and Jerry; and a sister, Peggy Anderson. He is survived by two daughters, Vicki Churchman and husband John of Paris and Sheila Nehus and husband Xavier of Benton; one son, Michael Sheridan of Illinois; a son in law, Alan Stubblefield of Paris; three sisters, Virginia Jones of Texas, Patricia Nelson of Wisconsin and Nova Rosencrans of Florida; one brother, Terry Scallions and wife Linda of Florida; nine grandchildren, Destini VanMeter, AJ Churchman and wife Cailey, Tory Bradford and husband Bryan, Kelly VanMeter and husband Bryan, Austin Stubblefield and wife Danielle, Cassie Pruitt and husband Daniel, Caleb Nehus and wife Spring, Rebecca Nehus-Flores and husband Bryan and Samantha Sheridan; and (24) great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 23rd at Caulksville Cemetery, in Caulksville, Arkansas, with Rev. Sandra Wiggins officiating, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
