Leon H. Crowell, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born July 7, 1928, in Logan County, Arkansas to the late Earl Crowell and Irene (Moore) Crowell. He was 89 years old. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Faye (Cauthron) Crowell; and one daughter, Ruby Lorene Robinson.

Leon worked in a sawmill and he was a logger in California.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will be at Horne Cemetery in Midway, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his son, Charles Crowell of Paris; five sisters, Lena Mae James of Fort Smith, Earlene Hawkins of Paris, Jean Rowen of Paris, Christine Jones of Fort Smith, and Wilma Standridge of Fort Smith; one brother, Earl Dean Crowell of Holdenville, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Larry Brown, Brandon Crowell, Anthony Crowell, Clint Standsberry, Joe Cauthron and Curtis Hawkins.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
