Lelia Mae Wright of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died on Thursday, April 20, 2023. She was born on April 7, 1947, in Liberty, Mississippi, to the late Homer Daniel Cooksey and Era Mae McKee. She was 76 years old.

Lelia was a professional seamstress.

She is survived by two daughters, Heather Ranae Love-Wright of Texas, and Rebecca (Pedro) Tovar of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three sisters, Joan Albright, Helen Durham, and Sharon Pipps, all of Trinity, Texas; one son, Bobby Cooksey of Texarkana, Texas; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
