Leeman Everett "Fuzzy" Sands, who resided in Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born February 19, 1933, in Womack, Missouri, to the late Albert A. Sands and Lettie (Harris) Sands. He was 88 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Viola (Smith) Sands; a daughter, Connie Faye (Sands) Counts; and a grandson, John Archie Reeves, Jr.

Fuzzy was a retired truck driver. He was an U.S. Army Korean War veteran, lifetime member of Amvets 113 in Park Hills, Missouri, and member of Crossroads Church in Womack, Missouri.

He is survived by his children, Brenda Reeves of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Charlotte Weiss of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Deborah Sands and Patricia Sands, both of Charleston, West Virginia, and William L. Walker and wife Susan of Park Hills, Missouri; his brother, Elmer Lee Sands of Fulton, Missouri; his sister, Lavada Reynolds of Fredericktown, Missouri; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Thanks to a very special grandson and Fuzzy's sidekick, Troy L. Sands.
