Lealon Eugene Hawkins resided at Charleston, Arkansas, went to be the Lord on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, in Booneville, Arkansas. He was born March 14, 1917 in Charleston to the late Rett Hawkins and Pearl Workman Hawkins. He was 91 years old. He was a Citrus Rancher in California for over 38 years, before retiring in Charleston.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Ibison Hawkins; two brothers, B.J. Hawkins and Walt Hawkins; two sisters, Minnie Metcalf and Ethel Waggoner.

He is survived by three daughters, Betty Tipp of Camarillo, California, Sue Miller of Fresno, California and Sharon Young of Charleston; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2008 at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston.

Family visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at funeral home.
