Laura Jean Pickler, 60, of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed from this world to eternal life on the morning of August 12, 2021. She was born August 10, 1961, in Centerville, Iowa, to the late Johnny and Beverly Keener. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Keener.

Laura was a beautiful guitar player and singer. Her favorites were the old country and gospel that she played with her dad. A friend to all who knew her, Laura had a soft spot for people and animals. Her daily walks and talks with Jesus were her way to find peace here on earth.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Marty Pickler of Van Buren and Lacey Shelton and husband Shawn of Alma; a sister, Becky Clark of Centerville, Iowa.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services of Fort Smith with inurnment to take place in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, Iowa, at a later date.
