Obituary

Larry Don Stinnett, who resided in Paris, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born February 20, 1956, in Paris, to the late Donald Lee Stinnett and Ermma Lee Grimes Stinnett. He was 65 years old.  Larry was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie and Gary Stinnett; a stepsister, Joyce Plemmons and a stepbrother, Rudy Plemmons.

Larry worked for Cloyes Gear/AAM in Subiaco for 33 years.  He was an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing.  He was also a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Paris.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 19th at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. Wayne Thacker officiating. Burial will follow at Baxley Cemetery, north of Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife, Freda Girad Stinnett; three sons, Chris Stinnett and wife Jessica of Conway, Jeffrey Stinnett and wife Angie of Amarillo, Texas, and Daniel Hill and wife Tiffany of Fort Smith; four daughters, Brenda Stinnett, Brandy Hill and Misty Varnell both of Fort Smith, and Tiffany Hill of Paris; one sister, Carol Kuykendall and husband Terry of Branch; three brothers, Rick Stinnett and wife Vicky of Van Buren, Kenny Stinnett and wife Linda of Paris, and Robert Plemmons and wife Donna of Magazine; three half-brothers, Lanny King and wife Christina, Stanley King and wife Sandra of Booneville, and Jimmy King of Magazine; twenty-five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Bubba Cooper, Jon Gentry, Glen Inman, Wayne Hill, David Stinnett, and Daniel Stinnett.  Honorary pallbearers are the cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
