Larry W. Loftis, who resided in Fort Smith, died Saturday, August 1, 2020, at his home. He was born November 20, 1957, in Houston, Texas, to Merle Ray Loftis and Betty Sue (Oliver) Loftis. He was 62 years old. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sue Loftis.

Larry was a self-employed carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

A family held memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15th, at First Assembly of God Church in Greenwood, with Pastor John D. Miller officiating.

He is survived by his father, Merle Loftis of Greenwood; three sisters, Denise Hackney and Darlene Carnes, both of Fort Smith and Debra James of Greenwood; several nieces and nephews.
