Obituary
Larry Joe Gilbert, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born May 18, 1939 in Paris to the late Otis Gilbert and Marie (Thomas) Gilbert. He was 79 years old.
Larry worked many years for Miller Drilling Company in Fort Smith and retired from W.R. Grace and Company.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 5th, at St. Benedict Cemetery in Subiaco, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Dorothy (Etzkorn) Gilbert; two sisters, Wanda Schnieder of Paris and Lynn Sercomb and husband Ron of Paris.
The family will visit with friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
