Larry Dean Betancourt, who resided in Van Buren, died Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born July 12, 1961, in Los Angeles, California, to the late Frank Henry Betancourt and Barbara Fern (Krumsick) Betancourt. He was almost 59 years old.

Larry was a retired computer engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Honebrink) Betancourt; two step-sons, Austin Brasuell of Cedarville and Kody Brasuell of Fort Smith; one step-daughter, Brittney Brasuell of Mansfield; his brother, Barry Betancourt of Muldrow, Oklahoma; two step-sisters, Lawana Betancourt of Arlington, Texas and Janet Ferrell of Uniontown; a step-granddaughter, Alyiah Brasuell.
