Larry L. Addington resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at his daughter's home in Bixby, Oklahoma. He was born June 23, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late J.R. Lavern Addington and Wilda Hester (Ogden) Addington. He was 62 years old.
Larry was a disabled Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army, and member of the Church of Christ. Larry was a family man who loved his family very much.
Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, February 7th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Mr. Jeremy Sprouse officiating the service.
Graveside service, with military honors, will be 11:00 a.m. at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; one son, David Addington of the home; three daughters, Shelley Founds & husband Robert of Bixby, Oklahoma, Stephanie Galuppo & husband Chris of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Heather McPherson & husband Adam of Odon, Indiana; one sister, Sandra Taylor & husband Eddie of Hope, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Emily Founds, Robby Founds, Toby McPherson, Mason McPherson, Titus McPherson, and Anna Rose Founds.
Pallbearers will be James Tobey, Venson Tobey, Austin Webb, Buddy Brillowsky, Johnny Briney, Chris Galuppo, Adam McPherson, and Robert Founds.
Honorary Pallbearers will be David Addington, Ray Smith, Ted Riddle, Johnny Lockwood.
Family will visit with friends 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
