Larna J. Powell, who resided in Bloomer, died Monday, October 28, 2019 in Barling.  She was born January 14, 1938 in Boles, Arkansas to Catorn Rogers and Cordie (Amos) Rogers.  She was 81 years old.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Powell.

Larna was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church, Bloomer.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with the Rev. Richard Goodrum officiating.  Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Waldron under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Griffin and husband Howard of Bloomer and one son, John Powell of Fort Smith.

Pallbearers are Phillip Sanders, Barney Parsons, Howard Griffin, Russell Powell, Tyler Sanders and Justin Sanders.

The family will visit with friends Tuesday, October 29th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Charleston.
