Kristi Kay Paplow of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Thursday, January 26, 2023, in Fort Smith. She was born on September 15, 1961, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was 61 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael McPhillips.

She is survived by her children, Megan Miamault and Savanah Byers, both of Minnesota, Ashton Byers of Lavaca, Arkansas, and Jason Boje of Michigan; her mother, Darlene McPhillips of Minnesota; a brother, Tony McPhillips of Minnesota; and five grandchildren.
