Obituary

Kimberly Ann Blackford of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, at her home. She was born on February 3, 1965, in Ozark, Arkansas, to the late  J.D. House and Delores (Hewitt) House. She was 59 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenny Keith.

For 40 years, Kim has worked for Quantum Plastics in Fort Smith and was shipping coordinator for the company. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22nd at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Bro. Steve Young officiating. Burial will follow at Measles Memorial Cemetery in Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, James Blackford; three sons, Ruben Dampier of Lavaca, Ryan Blackford and wife Allison of Farmington, and Jordan Blackford and significant other Kendall Kilgore of Greenwood; a brother, Johnny House of Lavaca; and three grandchildren, Shailey Rudd, Journey Dampier and Trenton Dampier.

Pallbearers are Trent Dampier, Kenny Keith, Dylan Keith, Tyler Belk, Phillip Clark, Jr., and Dustin Clark.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
