Kim Vue, (affectionately known by family and friends as Kimber), 29, went home to be with her Savior Thursday, August 25, 2016, in Scranton, Arkansas.
Born in Stockton, California on August 12, 1987, Kim was the fourth daughter of Chao and Mai Vue. Chao and Mai loved the Lord and raised their children to be lovers of the Lord and others. It was from there that Kim gave her life to the Lord, through serving others.
In 1988, Chao and Mai, moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After a fierce battle with cancer, Chao was called home on March 20, 1993.
In 2005, Kim attended Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa Falls, Georgia. She entered into a degree program in the School of Christian Ministries where she majored in Youth Ministry. One of her greatest desire was to be a missionary and share Jesus to the Lost. Unfortunately, Kim left Toccoa Falls College after her junior year to support her mother and raised her four younger siblings.
In 2012, Mai moved her family to Scranton, Arkansas, where Kim resided until she was called home to be with her Savior.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Chao.
She is survived by: her mother, Mai; her brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, Timothy, Judith, Julianna, Gwendolynn, Grayson, and Parker; her sister and brother-in-law, Paia and Jerry Lao, sister, Panyia; sister and brother-in-law, Yer and Kenson Vang; sister, brother-in-law, and nephew, Aimee, Wa, and Timothy Yang; sister and niece, Emily and Galilee Thomas; and her four youngest sisters, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Naomee.
Funeral services will be beginning Friday and Saturday, September 2nd and 3rd, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris and ending Sunday, September 4th, at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
Before Kim was called home she wanted her family and friends to know that she was never ashamed, but that she continued to be bold for Christ. Because for Kim, living means living for Christ, and dying was even better.
Kim remained alive so she could continue to help her family and friends grow and experience the joy of their faith in Christ. And now she has been called home to take up her heavenly crown.
