Katherine Joann "Kathy" Whitley, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, died Sunday, February 14, 2021, at her home. She was born April 2, 1935, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to the late Jessie and Bertha (Street) David. She was 85 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Melvin Whitley.

Kathy worked many years for the Pants Factory in Paris and for Paris Health & Rehab Center in Paris. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 22nd, at Paint Rock Cemetery, located south of Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the service will be Pastor Kenny Maness.

She is survived by three sons, Clinton Whitley of Paris, Lonnie Whitley of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Ronnie Whitley of Paris; three sisters, Betty Powers, Barbara David, and Joy Bevens, all of California; three brothers, Glen David and Richard David, both of California and Harvey Don David of Ozark; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Public viewing will begin Monday, February 22nd, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
