Katherine Lucille Brown of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her home. She was born on October 2, 1964, in San Angelo, Texas. She was 60 years old. She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan D. Brown; a son, her father, Higgie Joe Highsmith, Sr.; a son, Michael Gregory; a sister, Deanna Highsmith; two brothers, Alvin Highsmith and Higgie Highsmith; and two grandchildren, Trevor Joe Williams and Hadassah Leigh Williams.

For several years, Katherine was a waitress.

She is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Stevens and husband Ashton of Roland, Oklahoma, and Susan Turner and husband John of Fort Smith; two brothers, Charles Highsmith and William Highsmith; three sisters, Samantha Van Story, Evelyn Glosenger and Stormie Muller; and five grandchildren.
