Karen Sue Waldron of Arkoma, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on June 3, 1958, in Montebello, California, to the late Shiro Kataoka and Irene Fukushima Kataoka. She was 65 years old.

Karen was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Wade Waldron; two daughters, Brenna Dickerson and husband Justin Marksberry of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Erika Waldron and husband Donnie Smith of Clarksville, Texas; two sisters, Elaine Brennan and husband Edmond of Camarillo, California, and Mary Jane Gutierrez and husband Larry of Merlin, Oregon; one brother, Mark Kataoka and wife Kristine of Wittier, California; and six grandchildren.
