Kaitlyn Logan Brooks of Greenwood, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 22, 2024, at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on February 29, 2000. She was 23 years old.

Kaitlyn was a 2018 graduate of Van Buren High School. She was a bank teller at Citizens Bank & Trust in Van Buren and previously worked as a server for Western Sizzlin in Van Buren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27th at Kibler Methodist Church in Kibler, with the Rev. Dale Richardson and Rev. Steve Quick officiating. Burial will follow at Hampton Cemetery, located north of Branch, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

Kaitlyn was preceded in death by a son, Grayson Lane Beard; her maternal grandparents, Edward and Betty Creek; and her paternal grandfather, Jimmy Brooks.

She is survived by her children, Legend Gray Beard and Indigo Gray Brooks; her father, James Brooks of Van Buren; her mother, Sheryl Creek of Greenwood; her grandmother, L. Sue Brooks of Van Buren; two brothers, Derek Creek and wife Brittany of Pace, Florida, and Elijah Brooks of Greenwood; a sister, Lillian Brooks of Van Buren; and a special friend, Haley Brooks of Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be her family and friends.

The family will visit with friends prior to the service on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 p.m. and services starting at 2:00 p.m. at Kibler Methodist Church.
