Obituary
Junior Yancey, 63, of Lavaca died Sunday, April 20, 2008, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born Dec. 1, 1944, in Lavaca. He was a newspaper carrier for the Times Record and was a member of Lavaca First Baptist Church.
The body was cremated under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Charleston. A private family memorial service will be at a later date.
He is survived by a daughter, Tina Lang of Fort Smith; a son, Kevin Yancey; two sisters, Irene Williams of Lavaca and Colleen Graham of Missouri; and three grandchildren.
