Obituary

Judy Gayle Rice, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 in Alamosa, Colorado from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. She was born March 8, 1947 in Fort Smith to Theodore Williams and Betty Jo (Beshears) Williams. She was 64 years old.

Judy was a Health Records Service Specialist for the North Logan Health Unit in Paris.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 9th at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Rev. Bill Van Meter officiating. Burial will be at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Don Rice of the home; one daughter, Leisa Pfeiffer and husband Rick of Caulksville; two sons, Cody Rice of Kentucky and Michael "Fred" Rice of Booneville; her father and mother, Ted and Betty Williams of Pocola, Oklahoma; three sisters, Doris Reichert of Evansville, Linda Pendergrass of Cedarville and Jan Riggs of Poteau, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kirsten Drewry, Lucas Hice, and Alan and Lee Rice; one step grandchild, Kara Inklebarger; one great grandchild and two step-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dale, David, and Ron Rice, Kip and Lucas Hice, and Cecil King.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen King and Ernest Mueller.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night, September 8th at the funeral home.
