Juanita Darlene Stewart, who resided in Bonanza, Arkansas, died Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at her daughter's home in Lavaca, Arkansas. She was born on June 17, 1950, in Wilburton, Oklahoma, to the late Earnest Cunningham and Claudine (Barnes) Cunningham. She was 75 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Stewart; and two sisters, Diane Cunningham and Brenda Cooper.
Juanita was a retired cashier, and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Kellie Lewis and Ellen Powell and husband Stanley; a son, Edlin Gill; three sisters, Mary Breese, Elaine Barnes and Janette Turner; a brother, Earnest Danel; a daughter-in-law, Merci Gill of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Michael Gill and Cathrene Brown; five great-grandchildren, Emma Brown, Caroline Brown, Kenstan Brown, Madison Holt, and Alexis Gill; a son-in-law, Philip Morris; and the father of her children, Ed Gill.
