Joyce (Slaten) Kuykendall, who resided in Little Rock, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, in Little Rock. She was born March 20, 1937, in Booneville, to the late William E. and Dola (Nichols) Slaten. She was 84 years old.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Kuykendall, two brothers, E.J. and Red Slaten, and one sister, Velma Collier.

Joyce was a beautician.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with the Rev. Terry Scott officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by a son, Larry Slaten of Little Rock and several nieces and nephews.
