Joyce Evelyn Hunt, who resided in Scranton, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Johnson County Health & Rehab Center in Clarksville. She was born February 25, 1937, near Prairie View in Logan County, to the late Thomas James Blamey and Mamie Anderson Blamey. She was 81 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jearl Albert Hunt; a son, Jearl Lynn Hunt; and a brother, Billy Blamey.

Joyce was a homemaker.

She is survived by her two children, Mamie Miller of Scranton and Stephen Hunt of New Blaine; a brother, Johnny Blamey of Scranton; (8) grandchildren and (13) great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27th, at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. A family held burial of cremains will be at Prairie View Cemetery at Prairie View at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
