Joy Faye Rogers, who resided in Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, in Van Buren. She was born on March 15, 1942, in Magazine, Arkansas to the late Thomas Nixon and Hildred (Smith) Nixon. She was 80 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rogers, and her daughters, Karen and Connie Gregory.

She was a restaurant hostess and was of the Assembly of God faith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 3rd at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Rev. Vondal Davenport officiating. Burial will follow at Wilcox-Nixon Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by three daughters, Kim Johnson and husband Eddie of Afton, Oklahoma, Kelly Young and husband Dean of Magazine, and Kristina Rogers and husband Aaron of Van Buren; a son, Stephen Langford and wife Debbie of Lawton, Oklahoma; a sister, Twila Varnell of Paris, Arkansas; Twenty-Two grandchildren; and Thirty-Two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Alex Thoennes, Andy Thoennes, Aiden Thoennes, Josh Johnson, Eddie Johnson, and Stephen Langford.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
