Obituary

Jordan Cooper Mayfield, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at his home. He was born January 2, 2002, in Fort Knox, Kentucky to his parents, Ronnie Eugene Mayfield and Celeste Renee (Crow) Mayfield. Jordan was 15 years old. He was preceded in death by a great-grandmother, Louannie Lowery.

Jordan was a 9th grade honor student at Paris High School. He loved to play football for the Paris Eagles, and he also excelled in Track and Field for the Paris athletic program. Jordan had many friends and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial service will be at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 17th, at First Assembly of God in Paris, with the Rev. Kenny Maness officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his father and mother, Ronnie and Celeste Mayfield; one sister, Kearsten Haney of Ratcliff; his two brothers, Jansen and Landin Mayfield, both of the home; his maternal grandparents, J.R. & Velta Whitley of Paris; his paternal grandmother, Vicky Mayfield of Hartman and paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Ron and Melissa Mayfield of Hartman; his paternal great-grandmother's, Barbara Mayfield and Nancy Mayfield, both of Coal Hill.

Honorary pallbearers will be Josiah Whitley, Brandon Becker, Braden Varnell, Cameron Ezell, and Samantha Walker.
