Jonathan David Poe, who resided in Ratcliff, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at his home. He was born May 26, 2000, in Ratcliff to Richard Kendall Poe and Debra Kay Hill Poe. He was 21 years old. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ann Poe.
Jonathan loved the game of basketball and was a big Razorback fan. He loved to sing and he loved his family very much. Jonathan was a member of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church near Subiaco.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Pastor Andrew Beauchamp officiating. Burial will follow at McKendree Cemetery, located north of Subiaco, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his parents, Kendall and Debbie Poe of Ratcliff; five brothers, Luke Poe and wife Morgan of Eads, Tennessee, Thomas Poe and wife Lydia of Paris, Justin Poe and wife Liz of Clarksville, Texas, Stephen Poe and wife Abbie of Greenwood, and Jared Poe and wife Chrissy of Greenville, Texas; three sisters, Anna Taylor and husband David of Madill, Oklahoma, Stephanie Prichard and husband Luke of Locus Grove, Georgia, and Bethany McCorkle and husband Cody of Greenwood; his maternal grandparents, Gale and Johnnie Hill of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his paternal grandfather, Bobby Poe of Memphis, Tennessee; (6) nieces and (16) nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan's five brothers and three brothers-in-law, Luke Poe, Thomas Poe, Justin Poe, Stephen Poe, Jared Poe, David Taylor, Luke Prichard, and Cody McCorkle.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Paris.
