Johnny Allen Sory

Johnny Allen Sory, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, died Friday, July 24, 2026, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on February 5, 1970, in Booneville, Arkansas, to the late Carl Emory Sory and Frances Jeanette (Cook) Sory. He was 56 years old.

Johnny was a 1988 graduate of Charleston High School. Due to many health issues, Johnny was disabled. He was loved by his family and friends very much and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Sory and wife Jennifer of San Antonio, Texas, and Trevor Sory and companion Kylie of Booneville; a sister, Carla Baxter and husband Howard of Charleston; two brothers, Emory Sory and wife Mary and Marvin Sory, all of Charleston; and six grandchildren, Freyja, Athena, Gaia, Karson, Bentley and Crispen.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30th at the funeral home. Public viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. There will not be a funeral service.

All services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
