Johnny Gene Morrison, Sr., who resided in Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born May 20, 1963, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Elwood Morrison and Karen Koncak Morrison. He was 55 years old. He was also preceded in death by his brother, George Morrison.

Johnny was a forklift operator for Gerber, Inc. in Fort Smith for many years before becoming disabled.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Kay (Heron) Morrison; four daughters, Robin Morrison, Sarah Garcia, Melissa Morrison and Kylie Wershem-Anwar; two sons, Johnny Morrison, Jr. and James Morrison; seven grandchildren, Christian Becerra, Marcia Santana, Arianna Garcia, Julian Ramirez, Miley Garcia, Joshua Morrison and Zoee Morrison; several great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services in Fort Smith.
