Obituary

John Paul "Johnny" Jones, who resided near Caulksville, Arkansas, died Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 10, 1937, at Shoal Creek in New Blaine, Arkansas, to the late Virgle and Mildred (McCutcheon) Jones. He was 84 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Jean (Baker) Jones, two brothers, and one sister.

Johnny served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired truck driver for Waggoner's Trucking Company in Billings, Montana. He worked for the Logan County Sheriff's Department, Paris Police Department, member of the Ratcliff Fire Department, and member of Harmony Assembly of God Church in Greasy Valley, located south of Paris.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13th at Harmony Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Tammy Frederick officiating.

He is survived by his two children, David Jones and wife Jelene of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Paula Jones of Caulksville; two grandchildren, Alyssa Reyes and husband Frealy of Little Rock and Dylan Jones of Jacksonville, Arkansas; six great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
