Obituary

Rev. John Houa Yang, who resided near New Blaine, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born March 5, 1953 in Laos to the late Nhia Vue Yang and Xyo (Thao) Yang. He was 59 years old.

John was a minister in Russellville, Arkansas for the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Funeral ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 1st at the Knights of Columbus building in Paris and will end Sunday night, June 3rd at 11:00 p.m.

Burial will be Friday, June 8th at Mount Olivet Cemetery in DePere, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Amy (Kong) Yang; seven daughters, Somsamy Xiong, Mary Kue, Jee Thao, Maiku Lor, Mainyia Vue, Martha Yang, and Connie Mayfield; one son, Barnabas Yang; three sisters, Shoua Yang Vue, Mee Yang, and Phoua Xiong; three brothers, Xang Yang, Yeng Yang, and Jacob Bounmy Yang; (13) grandchildren.
