John Wayne Waller, who resided at Sugar Loaf Lake near Hackett, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at his home. He was born July 10, 1959, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Wayne Edwin Waller and Mary F. DiBlasio Waller. He was 61 years, 9 months, and 4 days old. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlena Greth; and a brother, Lonnie "Chico" Waller.
John was a siding contractor for several years. He was an Army veteran and member of Springhill Baptist Church near Howe, Oklahoma. John loved the Lord and one of his greatest joy's in life was going to prisons and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mary Ann Coleman Waller; a son, John Wayne Waller, II and wife Crystal of Edmond, Oklahoma; a daughter, Anisa Ralls and husband Daniel of Seattle, Washington; two brothers, Larry Waller and wife Paula of Austin, Texas and Gary Waller and wife Grace of Edmond, Oklahoma; a sister, Madeline Lenhart of Edmond, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Sophia Ralls and Elijah Ralls, both of Seattle, Washington, Desiree Cox of Columbus, Ohio and Nicholas Greth of Akron, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 30th, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 N. Kelley Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73131. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Kent Risley.
