John Douglas Osborn of Muldrow, Oklahoma, died Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Heart of Hospice in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on August 6, 1964, in El Dorado, Kansas, to the late Dennis E. Osborn and Eleanor M. (Parscal) Osborn. He was 58 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cheryl (Harrison) Osborn; a brother, Mike Osborn; and niece and nephew, Chelsea and Clayton.

John served 20 years in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War.

He is survived by his sister, Elaine Osborn of Muldrow; two estranged brothers, Scott Osborn and Vincent Dodd; his nephews, Casey Goodrich, Michael Goodrich and Jerrod Osborn; a niece, Crystal Osborn; six great-nephews; and Tyler Harrison, daughter of Cheryl.
