John Henry Massey, Jr., who grew up in Mansfield, Arkansas, died Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Paris Health & Rehab Center in Paris, Arkansas. He was born on April 8, 1974, in St. Louis, Missouri, to John Henry Massey, Sr. and Rita Mae (McIntyre) Massey. He was 50 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Massey, Sr.

Some of John's favorite hobbies was drawing and playing video games, and he was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his children, Katrina Massey of Fort Smith, Kaylee Massey of Paris, Arianna Scantling of Booneville, Johnathan Massey of Tucker, Arkansas, and A.J. Massey of Paris; his mother, Rita Perkins of Charleston; two sisters, Anna Atherton of Greenwood and Jackie Odem of Kennett, Missouri; one brother, Terry Wayne Huff of Charleston; and three grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brotherton Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
