John Kennon Hornback, who resided in Strawn, Texas, died Monday, January 27, 2020, surrounded by his family at his sister's home near Branch, Arkansas. He was born November 8, 1964, in Amarillo, Texas. He was 55 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Thomas Hornback and Barbara Jean (McLoud) Hornback.

John was a supervisor for Brazos River Authority (BRA) at Possum Kingdom Lake in Texas.

He is survived by his two sisters, Kathlyn Freeman and husband Crandall of Branch and Phebe Neal and husband Shane of Buffalo, Texas; his brother, Lee Hornback and wife Sonja of Desdamona, Texas; his biological father, Delton Allen and wife Barbara of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

No Services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
