John Michael Fowler, of Fort Smith, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019, in Fort Smith. He was born December 28, 1952, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Glendon Fowler and Eugenia Ann Burge Fowler. He was 66 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Glendon Fowler.

He is survived by two sons, Jeremiah Fowler and wife Sarah of Boston, Massachusetts and Benjamin Fowler and wife Sarah of Rancho Santa Margarita, California; his mother, Eugenia Fowler of Muskogee, Oklahoma; a sister, Vicki Bailey of Sherman, Texas; a brother, Jack Fowler of Wagner, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Rose, Ivy, and Vera Fowler.

There will not be a service at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services in Fort Smith.
