John Lee Farris, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, formerly of Paris, died Saturday, November 13, 2021, in Fort Smith. He was born on March 30, 1958, in Joplin, Missouri, to the late James Leonard Farris and Patricia Jean (Keene) Farris. He was 63 years old. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Farris, Jr., and a sister, Janet Farris.

John worked 20 plus years and retired from Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith. He was also an U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his children, Kristy Lamance, Joshua Whitney, and Katheryn Whitney, all of Alma; a sister, Joyce Rye of Paris; three grandchildren, Johnathon Beard, Kilie Whitney, and Landon Whitney, all of Alma; and two special friends, Joyce Frachiseur of Greenwood and John Manckiy of Fort Smith.
