John David Aldridge, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Heart of Hospice Facility in Fort Smith. He was born on June 30, 1972, in Fairfield, Texas. He was 50 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Ernie and Clynelle (Harris) Aldridge; and two sisters, Jeanie Bottoms and Joyce Aldridge.

John was a 1990 graduate of Charleston High School.

He is survived by four sisters, Jennifer Lee and Raymond of Van Buren, Jessica Contreras and Juan of North Carolina, Jeanie Bottoms and Joyce Aldridge; a brother, Antonio Contreras and Jody of Heavener, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and his longtime life partner, Mike Thomas.
